Philosophy

Admittedly, our demographic is not everyone. We believe riding should be one's main mode of transportation. We love bikes – collecting, riding, and, of course building them. As such, we would love to build a bike for those who would ride them and give them, and the culture, the same love and affection we do. We design bikes, in general, for the avid daily bikers as a more human form of transportation.

At Lugs, we're about bikes - not dollars. The time and labor we put into our bikes is most certainly more love than hard work of any kind. While used bikes are great, and restoration is really important (no bike shall be laid to waste), the typical used bike is not "road-worthy". We don't believe in putting a used bike out our doors and onto the street unless it's been completely rebuilt as a matter of safety and whole-hearted belief.

Lugs is an advocate of, and fully supports, the cycling community.
